DITCH THE EXCUSES BUT NOT THE GYM
People use bad weather as an excuse to avoid working out, but don't let a bit of rain get in your way. It's important to make a clear distinction between exhausted and lazy. If you've trained to the point of exhaustion, then taking a day off is best for recovery. But if you happen to catch yourself feeling lazy, just remember that no one has ever regretted a workout. Even if you can't bring 100 percent intensity, it's a lot better than not going at all.
Exercises are undoubtedly important, but your diet is just as integral to maintaining the best body you can. Bringing us to point number two.
MAKE HEALTHY EATING CHOICES & STAY HYDRATED
If you want to get lean or stay lean, it's important to cut out refined carbohydrates and sugar. That doesn't mean you need to completely cut out all carbs but rather stick to eating complex carbohydrates that can be found in foods like wheat, corn, rice, oats, barley, quinoa, spelt, rye and in fruits, vegetables and legumes. The basic rule is to try and cook your meals from scratch using fresh ingredients that are in season (meal planning is key). Also make sure to drink your daily water intake for hydration from within.
